Who we are

This website (the "Site") is Level Up Group Market Intel at levelupgroup.tech, a free, public, informational resource on the San Francisco residential market. It has two parts: an interactive market explorer built on governed Multiple Listing Service data, and a blog of market analysis articles. The Site is operated by Level Up Group, a team of real estate agents affiliated with Compass. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use apply only to this Site. They do not apply to the main Level Up Group website at levelupgroup.com, to Compass, to pauloserna.com, or to the password-protected Deep Dive tool at potm-app.com, each of which has its own terms.

Information we collect

The Site has no sign-up, no account, no newsletter, and no text-message program, and it does not ask you for personal details simply to read it.

There is one way you can choose to send us information: the Feedback tab in the market explorer, and the email and phone links on the Site. If you submit feedback, whatever you write, plus any contact details you choose to include, is delivered to the team. Feedback submissions are transmitted through Web3Forms, a form delivery service that passes your message to our team email; its handling of the submission is governed by its own privacy policy. If you email or call us directly, that communication reaches us outside this Site.

Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically keeps standard server logs when you load a page. These can include your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages requested, and the date and time. This technical data is used to operate the Site, keep it secure, and understand aggregate usage. We do not use it to build a marketing profile of you.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The Site does not set cookies, does not use local or session browser storage, and does not run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels (no Google Analytics, no Meta or other ad pixels). Fonts, scripts, charts, and the neighborhood map are served from this Site itself, so in normal reading use your browser makes no requests to third parties. Because we do not perform cross-context behavioral advertising or set tracking technologies, there is nothing to opt out of for those purposes here.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, and to read and respond to feedback you choose to send. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention and security

Server logs are retained for a reasonable period for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or anonymized in the ordinary course. Feedback messages are kept as long as they are useful for responding and improving the Site. We rely on reputable hosting and follow generally accepted measures to protect the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the "CCPA"), gives you rights regarding personal information a business collects about you, including the right to know, to access, to delete, to correct, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because this Site collects only limited technical data automatically, plus feedback you choose to send, and does not sell or share personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, most of these rights have little to apply to here. You may still submit a request and we will respond as required by law. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable. To submit a request, use the contact options below.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version on this page.

Market data disclaimer

Market figures are compiled from sources deemed reliable, including the San Francisco Multiple Listing Service processed through the team's POTM data engine, but have not been independently verified and are not guaranteed. They are subject to change, correction, and revision, and no claim of 100 percent accuracy is made. Medians and other statistics describe past closed sales and are not a prediction or guarantee of future results or of the value of any particular property. Changes in price, condition, sale, or withdrawal may occur without notice.

Blog and authorship

Blog articles are researched and written by members of the Level Up Group team, currently Paulo Serna, and the originals are published on pauloserna.com. AI tools assist with data assembly and drafting; the analysis, judgment, and commentary are the team's, and figures come from the governed data described above.

No solicitation

If your property is currently listed for sale, this is not a solicitation. Nothing on the Site is a solicitation if you are already represented by another real estate agent.

Intellectual property

The Site, its design, text, charts, and original compilations of data are owned by Level Up Group or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may view, share, and quote the Site's content for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution and a link. Any other reproduction, scraping, or redistribution of the data compilations requires prior written permission. Underlying MLS data remains subject to the rules of its source.

Links to other sites

The Site links to other websites, including levelupgroup.com, pauloserna.com, potm-app.com, and compass.com. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Level Up Group and its members are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
